Inventory in Orange County

According to last weeks register the median price for a house in Orange County was at $663,000.00 (was at $630,000.00 to end 2015) and sales volume is up. We have an inventory of 4,376 homes for sale which includes new houses, condos, and SFR. We are seeing a 30 year fixed rate of 4.09%. Rents are up 5.2%. There are 112 homes that are currently under short sale, which is down from a couple of weeks ago. The average house is sitting on the market for just under 3 months.
